The Create and Trace Pre-Writing Skills Bunting is a collaborative, hands on printable resource designed to support early writing development through shared creativity and purposeful mark making.
This activity is intended to be used as a group project, where each child contributes to a shared bunting display while practising key pre-writing skills such as tracing, line control and shape formation. Each bunting flag provides guided opportunities for children to trace, draw and add their own creative details, allowing individual learning to come together as part of a collective outcome.
By working together on a shared display, children experience a sense of belonging, contribution and pride in their learning, while educators gain a meaningful visual representation of children’s developing skills.
